Finally, actor-producer-director Ameer’s Aadhi Bhagavan is showing signs of hitting the cinema halls in the State and elsewhere. As a prelude to its theatrical, the film’s audio is scheduled to be released tomorrow (06th October) at Powerade Centre, Toronto. Aadhi Bhagavan is the first film unit holding an Tamil audio launch in Canadian soils.
Ameer, who has directed just three films in the past decade or so in the form of Suriya’s Mounam Pesiyadhae, Jiiva’s Ram and Karthi’s Paruthiveeran, has been making the ‘Jayam’ Ravi-Neetu Chandra starrer Aadhibagawan for more than two years now. The film was launched some time in 2010. In a signed message, Ameer has informed that the film’s audio would be released tomorrow in Toronto.
Produced by J. Anbazhagan on behalf of his Anbu Pictures, Aadhibagawan has Babu Anthony (yesteryear’s menacing villain), Sudha Chandran and Anirudh essaying prominent roles besides the lead pair. Ameer’s favourite Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored the film’s music. Devaraj has cinematographed the film which has ‘Jayam’ Ravi playing dual roles for the first time in his career.
A 50-member crew of the film including Ameer, ‘Jayam’ Ravi, Neetu Chandra, Yuvan Shankar Raja, Anbazhagan and Devaraj besides Ameer’s close friends and directors Sabha, Jananathan and Karu Pazhaniyappan would be attending the audio-launch at Toronto. Soon after returning from Toronto after the audio-release function is over, Ameer plans to release the trailer of Aadhibagawan in Chennai.
