Aravaan has given Aadhi a new lease of life. Impressed with a rough cut of the movie before release, director Soundarya booked the actor for a key role in daddy Rajini’s Kochadaiyaan. While the Kochadaiyaan shoots are under progress in London, Aadhi has been busy wrapping up his other Tamil-Telugu bilingual Maranthein Maniththen.
Directed by debutant Kumar, Maranthein Maniththen will be a complete action thriller. The movie set in the period of the 1986 floods, revolves around the lives of 4 characters and also has a romantic side to it. Playing Aadhi’s love interest in the movie is ‘Aadukalam’ actress Taapsee Pannu. The film produced by Manchu Entertainments has completed 3 major shooting schedules already and has just the final one left to be canned. The final schedule spans over 10 days and is a challenging one for the actors, as the script demands them to portray a wide range of emotions keeping things real. Actors Sundeep and Lakshmi Manju are part of the ensemble cast. Filming the climax portions in Rajamundry, Andhra Pradesh, Maranthein Maniththen will enter post production, once the shoots are completed.
