An 80-year old woman has filed a complaint against actor Vignesh, accusing him of plotting to ‘grab her land’ in an illegal manner. Veeramal, the woman in question, visited the city police commissioner’s office along with her advocate and logded a formal complaint with the top cop in the city.
In her complaint, Veerammal has stated that she owns a sprawling 5,000-square feet land in Chennai’s Ekkattuthangal at Guindy, one of the city’s prime localities. “Actor Vignesh a.k.a. Anthony had prepared fake documents and has taken over the possession of the land.
“The document prepared by Vignesh says that I’m dead. He has done so with the purpose of grabbing my land in an illegal manner and therefore the documents prepared by him show that I have expired. The false ‘death certificate’ has enabled Vignesh take away my land which should be returned to me at the earliest,” Veerammal has stated.
Veerammal’s advocate said that Vignesh has been helped in this matter by Veerapandian, a retired Deputy Superintendent of Police. Veerammal has also accused Vignesh and his Uma Maheswari of indulging in ‘illegal’ construction of a huge building on the land, which is rightfully hers.
Investigations are on in this case.
