Now this doesn’t happen every other day. The film Muyal is indeed a special effort by not just a single production banner but 5000 individuals who have come forward to give life to their common interest in cinema. Directed by JVS Guhan , their join production in Muyal revolves around the life of three youngsters in the city.
The movie stars small screen anchor Murali and actress Saranya donning the lead pair. Rajkumar, Shivani Bhai, Prabhu, Susan and Meera Krishnan are part of the ensemble cast. This will be Saranya’s first solo performance, though she has appeared in side roles in Jayam Ravi’s ‘Peranmai‘ and another film in Kadhal. Kollywood. Director JVS who came out with the flick ‘Sanikilamai Sayangalam 5inthu Mani‘ which was exclusively shot using a still camera, will give a similar treatment for his next release too. The 5000 individuals funding this project are part of the Tamilnadu Video and Photographers association who have now floated their own production house in B & V Entertainment, launching their film in AVM studios, Vadapalani, Chennai earlier. The music has been scored by composer Xavier. When queried why they chose Muyal (Rabbit) as the title, they tell us that the Rabbit represents that, “Nothing is impossible if you give it a try.”
We applaud this bold step taken by the group, hoping for a good debut.
