Industry insiders have for long tagged Dhanush to be the director’s actor who never disappoints his directors trust. In Aadukalam, itself the director Vettrimaran and the actor Dhanush both have together worked hard to give a super duper entertainer. Now they are geared for a 2012 release too if reports are to be believed. In the meantime, Dhanush has been associated with the masala entertainer Venghai by Hari and is effectively juggling box-office success and offbeat ventures like Aadukalam.
Whereas in Seedan he plays a cameo, then there is the much awaited film Maapillai too. Soon he will be back again to an experimental flick Irandam Ulagam, by Selvaraghavan.
Reportedly the buzz is that Dhanush has agreed to do a film for director Chimbu Devan, who also has a knack of attracting the kids and family audience’s concurrently as Dhanush himself was overwhelmed by the script of the yet to be made a fantasy story and family entertainer.
These days Director Subramaniam Siva, responsible for the blockbuster ‘Thiruda Thirudi’ has promising words to say about Dhanush .
Who is very optimistic about his forthcoming venture ‘Seedan’, which has Dhanush ,
He comments, “It is a remake of Malayalam hit ‘Nandanam’, and I have carefully made certain changes to the script. Fans would get to see a new Dhanush in Seedan. He plays a cook, who changes the life of Ananya, who is a maid in the same house where Dhanush is working.
I am sure it will be great movie as I have worked hard and learned a lot from my previous experiences. My previous film Pori failed to evoke positive response in the box-office since I dealt a very serious subject in a comical way that was quite unexpected. In Yogi, I should have avoided the climax fight and rather have completed the film in a soft manner.
Well 2011 will surely turn out to be a great ride for Dhanush, who has a long list of commitments to fulfill, let’s hope the celebrations continue post Aadukulam and lives up to his Mr. Dependable image.
